This week's travel news might have to take a backseat since I'll be trading frequent flyer miles for diaper miles later today! Writing this issue from the comfy confines of the delivery room couch, I eagerly await my ticket upgrade to girl dad. So, to all those readers who are already familiar with the joys (and challenges) of buying more than two plane tickets, this one's for you!
Here are 3 headlines, 2 hacks, and 1 question answered this weekβ¦

3 Headlines
One.
Hyatt launching Ryokan brand in Japan (LINK)
With how much Hyatt has fumbled the bag recently, it's nice to hear that they are opening hot spring-style Inns across Japan. While we'll have to wait until 2026 for the first one to open up, it's nice to see more Hyatt options coming to Japan.
Two.
Headline Maya cabin suites with 45β curved screen (LINK)
Man, I love these new concept flight suites! While they haven't been implemented yet, fingers crossed airlines take notice because they're incredible. Imagine having a giant screen that takes up your entire seat, plus the privacy of a sliding door. Sign me up!
Three.
Europe flights for less than $200 (LINK)
With summer just kicking off, it's surprising to see so many crazy low fares popping up to Europe! If your schedule's flexible and you're itching for a Eurotrip, keep your eyes peeled. I've even spotted flights from JFK and LAX to Paris for as low as $20-$70 on Norse Atlantic Airways.
2 Hacks
One.
While flight prices have been all over the place lately, hereβs your reminder to set price alerts on Google Flights even after you book your ticket. In many cases, airlines will allow you to rebook at the lower price or get a credit towards a future flight. It's a quick and easy way to potentially save some cash by staying on top of price changes.
Two.
Don't just search for major routes, check multi-city options too. Sometimes award availability might be hidden for a single leg, but show up when searching for the entire itinerary. For example, if you're looking for flights to Bali using points, the leg from the US to Singapore might appear unavailable, but the full US-Singapore-Bali route on the same airline might be wide open.
1 Question From You
Every week I answer one question from the community. Reply to this email with yours because youβre probably not the only one that has it.
Question
Kim asked how big her business had to be for her to get a business card
There's a common misconception that you need an LLC and a business bank account to apply for business credit cards. But even a hobby or side hustle can qualify you! Many issuers let you apply with just your SSN as a sole proprietor. Very few require an EIN.
