This week’s newsletter is a dispatch from the trenches of newfound fatherhood! Sleep-deprived but fueled by caffeine, I'm here to share the latest travel news and insights. And hey, huge thanks to everyone who responds to the poll – your feedback is gold (even the ones that say I need to step up my game – gotta keep those dad jokes sharp!)
Here are 3 headlines, 2 hacks, and 1 question answered this week…

3 Headlines
One.
Book American Airlines flights through Cathay Pacific (LINK)
Great news for those who, like me, rarely fly American Airlines (AA) due to them not having any credit card transfer partners. There's exciting news! You can now use Asian Miles, which are transferable from Amex, Citi, Capital One, and even Bilt, to book award flights on AA.
Two.
Fiji Airways joining Oneworld Alliance (LINK)
Fiji Airways has officially filed to become a full-fledged member of the Oneworld alliance. Hopefully, this means smoother award booking options through partner airlines (fingers crossed for increased availability!). Speaking of Fiji, some tempting award seats have recently popped up – perfect timing if you've been dreaming of a Fijian adventure!
Three.
[Deal Alert] - June Flying Blue Promo (LINK)
Calling all budget globetrotters! Looking for a European escape between now and November 30th, 2024? Air France, KLM and Flying Blue airline partner flights are offering incredible deals on economy-class award flights from select US cities to Europe for just 15,000 miles! This is a fantastic option for budget-conscious travelers who just want to get there and explore the continent.
2 Hacks
One.
Traveling on a tight budget and unsure of your exact travel dates? Spirit Airlines might be your new best friend! They recently announced a policy change – you can now modify your flight itinerary without any change fees.
Two.
Don't forget to share your referral link when your friends, family, or significant other are about to apply for a new card. This is a win-win situation – you earn bonus points for the referral, and they get a head start on their points journey (without any extra cost to them). My wife and I do this all the time – it's a fantastic way to rack up extra points quickly. My favorite card to refer is this one or this one if you have a side hustle or business.
1 Question From You
Every week I answer one question from the community. Reply to this email with yours because you’re probably not the only one that has it.
Question
This question comes from the better half, the wife. She asked if the baby will get free flights.
Yes and no. I sent her this reel which explains most of it. In short, domestically probably yes but internationally is a different story. I’ll try to mainly redeem award tickets through Air Canada Aeroplan or Virgin Atlantic since they have the lowest fees.
